New World’s next season is titled the Season of Opportunity and was revealed by Amazon Games in a new blog post published to the game’s official website.
Launching along with the highly anticipated Aeternum update on October 15, the Season of Opportunity brings repeatable Soul Trials, a free for all PvP zone, improved endgame rewards, and a 10 player raid. If this sounds familiar, it’s because it is. The content described here is all coming in the Aeternum update itself, players will just have a new season pass to go along with it.
The season pass will include new ways for players to earn cosmetic items, Transmog Tokens, Artifacts, and other rewards. Some of the more notable items on the Premium Reward track include a five piece set of seasonal armor, nine seasonal weapon skins, three mount attachments, and two seasonal emotes. The Free Reward track will offer unique cosmetic rewards for all players. Players can unlock the Premium Reward track for 20,000 Marks of Fortune.
