Blizzard released Hearthstone a decade ago, and has just kicked off some 10th anniversary celebrations, with gifts for you, in World of Warcraft.
Yes, you’ll be able to play in some Hearthstone tournaments in capital cities within WoW. If you want to join the fun, the celebration runs through March 18th. Head over to Durotar, Stormwind Harbor, or Valdrakken to see if a tournament pops up and take a seat at the table. There are a series of Hearthstone-themed rewards to collect, but you’ll have to be lucky enough to get an encounter with Whizbang.
So sit at a few tables and then see if you get a chance at the goodies. Defeat Whizbang, the toymaker at the center of Hearthstone’s Whizbang’s Workshop update coming on March 19th, and some special minions to walk away with rewards like Sarge Pet, The Tavern’s Tabard, Reno's Lucky Hat Transmog, and Hearthstone: Stone of the Hearth.
If you have been playing Hearthstone, then you can also log in to earn yourself a new flying mount, the Fiery Hearthsteed. This is a newbie-friendly giveaway too, since you will earn the mount as long as you get past the tutorial. Once you do, you'll be able to claim the mount in World of Warcraft. If you are already a regular Hearthstone player, just logging in will get you the mount. You also earn a new achievement - Hearthstoned: Fiery Edition.
You can earn the new mount from now through May 14th, so you have some more time for that than to catch Whizbang at the table and earn those other goodies.
Head to World of Warcraft for more details.
