EA Play - Battlefield V Royale + Anthem in Feb '19 & Star Wars Battlefront 2 Going to Clone Wars!

EA Play is the first of the BIG events planned over the next five days during E3 2018. We'll know we'll be learning more about Anthem and seeing a brand new trailer. But what else will we find out? We'll be live blogging the event, so refresh the page from time to time to find out what other surprises EA has up its sleeve!

Anthem - FEBRUARY 22, 2019!

  • multiplayer and storytelling are often at odds with one another. Anthem is focused on mission when you're out in the world which is a living, shared world. It is where multiplayer takes place.
  • when returning to the base, it is a single player experience and understand the consequences of my decisions
  • designed to add story to Anthem for years to come
  • the Anthem of Creation is in conflict with a world the Gods abandoned along with their tools which create an environment of storms. This is why players must wear the suits when out of the base
  • it's an experience that's meant to feel alive and why the world is always changing through storms and seasons
  • we can drop into the world a dramatic event that changes the world for everyone
  • you are a freelancer using a Javelin exosuit and you're facing off against ancient enemies called the Dominion
  • four different Javelins - Ranger, Colossus, Interceptor and the Storm - each has a different way to play the game. Players can use whichever suit appeals to them at the moment
  • Ranger is a generalized suit designed for 1v1 up close and personal combat
