Did you miss the E3 Microsoft+Bethesda Showcase? During the showcase, over 30 games were shown, with 27 of them headed to Game Pass on Day 1 of their release! Here is a quick recap of many of the most exciting games shown for MMORPG and RPG gamers!

Starfield

The first glimpse into what Starfield looks like was teased, depicting a ship and mech that players will undoubtedly get to take advantage of while playing. The Xbox exclusive title will be available on Xbox Game Pass the day it launches, on 11/11/2022.

Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves teased an epic pirate crossover with Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean introducing Captain Jack Sparrow to the game. The upcoming expansion is titled Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life, and will take players on 5 exciting adventures with some iconic characters from the movie franchise. Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life will release on June 22nd, 2021.

Psychonauts 2

Are you psyched for Psychonauts 2? If so you don’t have too much longer to wait as the long-awaited sequel is headed our way August 25th, and will be available on Game Pass the moment it releases! Follow Raz as he continues to harness his psychic powers on a surreal adventure that is expected to be everything Psychnauts was – and more!

Fallout 76

There’s a lot coming to Fallout 76 this year. In the next seasonal content drop teased during E3, Steel Reign will introduce new missions that revolve around the expansion of the Brotherhood of Steel’s influence in the region. For players that have been excited for Expeditions, but a little sad that it wasn’t on the roadmap for this year, a teaser for the first expedition, The Pitt, was shown, with a release date for 2022. The Pitt will take players to irradiated Pittsburgh, to encounter a new challenge that has yet to be revealed.

Halo: Infinite

The first showing of Halo: Infinite didn’t really provide the kind of excitement Microsoft hoped for when it was last revealed. In the latest trailer for the game, players were introduced to the multiplayer mode that will be free to everyone looking to get in for some Halo action. An ai-bot mode will also be available for players that want to warm up in multiplayer, and learn the maps without battling against other players. Halo: Infinite plans to drop more multiplayer footage tomorrow, but for those ready to play, they’ll have to wait until the holiday season of 2021, for a release.

Diablo II: Resurrected

Ready to beat back some demons? You’ll have your chance September 23rd when Diablo II: Resurrected launches. Beta testers will be able to get in early in August, and those interested in getting in on Xbox will be required to have Xbox Live Gold in order to participate in the early access.

The Outer Worlds 2

Fans of The Outer Worlds should increase their hype meters substantially, as a new trailer for The Outer Worlds 2 released during the Microsoft + Bethesda showcase, and it was gorgeous. The new game will feature a new crew in a new star system, but what won’t it feature? Probably a lot of the characters we saw in the trailer by the sound of the narrator.

Grounded

Big adventures sometimes happen to the smallest people, at least, that’s how it is in Grounded. The co-op miniaturized survival title is getting its biggest update yet, allowing players to build more, with new materials to protect against some dangerous foes. Players will also be able to own their own little Aphid pets! If you’ve been hesitant to pick up grounded because you suffer from arachnophobia, which will certainly come into play when fighting the new Broodmother, don’t forget to turn on Arachnophobia Mode!

Redfall

Redfall is a new game developed by the award-winning Arkane Studio’s, known for Prey and Dishonored. The new game will feature a band of survivors in Redfall, Massachusetts, as they battle their way through Vampires who have blocked out the sun, and plan to enslave those left alive. Players will get to customize their gear and skills as they fight their way through these monsters, to bring back the Sun, and save humanity.
