Today, Dungeons & Dragon Online rolls out Update 73: Tavern Tales, and introduces a brand new quest bundle that will continue to roll out over time. The update also introduces a number of fixes and improvements, but if you're looking to play through some new quest content, the DDO devs have got you covered over the next six weeks.
Here's how it will work. The Tavern Tales quest bundle will be free for VIP members or you can purchase it from the DDO Store. You can buy the quests separately or bundled at a discount. Today there is a new free quest, Dinosaur Crisis, in which a herd of dinosaurs is gathering outside of Stormreach.
You'll have to journey into the jungle and find out why and in doing so you will face a new monster, the Ettin. This monster was chosen by the DDO community during last year's PAX East panel and now, it's here today to face. Head to Stormreach Harbor to begin.
On April 16th, the Tavern Tales quest bundle will become available and you'll get access to the first of three new quests, Toil and Trouble. On April 30th, the second quest, Covered Culvert, will become available. Finally, on May 14th, play through Sleeping with the Fishes, the third and final quest.
