On October 3rd, Dungeons & Dragons Online will receive the Cloaked in Darkness update that will bring cloak customization to all players later today. To kickstart the creative process, everyone will receive a free Ranger's Cloak from the in-game shop by using the GETCLOAKED code. Lastly, the Night Revels Festival is marking its return and it's time for players to "head into new spooky dungeons and defeat the infamous Spectral Dragon".
Our yearly festival event returns with two new dungeon challenges, a new way to experience the Delera's Graveyard landscape, and a new public hub to access the Night Revels challenges! Additionally, new items are available from the Night Revels vendor, including cloaks, Reaper's Platemail, helmets, a new pet, and more! Return to the scene of a minotaur village in Grave Work, and face a Spectral Dragon in Eternity Unleashed! Enter the Delera's Graveyard as a private party-sized instance, available from levels 1 through 35.
Other components of Update 40 include:
- Killing Time Raid - Level 32 for Normal and comes in the Dragonblood Prophecy adventure pack or is part of the VIP package
- Wood Elf variant that can be purchased from the DDO Store or come as part of the VIP package
- bug fixes and feature enhancements
