Dungeons and Dragons Online is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons, which is happening in the Year of the Dragon. So, there will be a special year-long giveaway with free dragon-themed gifts every month.
The gifts distribution will happen on the last Wednesday of every month, with each gift claimable until the next one drops. Standing Stone Games shared a list of all planned giveaways to whet your appetite for this big celebration. This month, on February 28th, the first gift, the Dragon Lord Archetype, unlocks. In March, Gift of the Silver Dragon, a free new adventurer’s pack will unlock, with VIP subscribers also getting daily gold rolls during the month.
April offers a chance to “Curate your Xpack cache” but if you have all of the expansion content, you’ll get an Elixir of Discovery. May offers a Ground Bound Green Dragon Mount, there’s a Dragon Hatchling Pet in June, and in July, take some Blue Draconic Wings.
The rest of the year continues to be filled with reward boxes, random gifts, the Prismatic Dragon Outfit in September, and more. carrying on for a full year, there are also gifts set for January 2025 and February 2025. In January, get the Armor of the Dragon Cult and in February, as a companion to this month's giveaway, the Dragon Disciple Archetype will be yours.
There are a number of cosmetics and surprises that will enhance your fun in Dungeons and Dragons Online, and the team is definitely going hard into the Year of the Dragon theme, which totally fits.
