Ahead of the August 27 beta, Dual Universe will cease selling Supporter packs on August 17.

They write,

“For those who aren’t in the loop, we recently announced August 27th as both the Beta release date and NDA drop. We also communicated that for the Beta, we will be starting a new pricing system. You can learn more about this change here.”

The beta will feature a subscription model which ends up like this:

  • 3 months - $20.97
  • 6 months - $38.45
  • 12 months - $69.90

The team notes that if you purchased an Alpha pack, you should already have access to this beta on August 27. Therefore, you won’t have to buy any additional game time. In case you missed it, the team outlined their Beta pricing model earlier in an FAQ which covered off additional monetization, backer rewards and more. You can read that FAQ here.
