Just a reminder that the Dual Universe beta kicks off today.
The beta started up at 10a ET, and with it sees the removal of the NDA. You are free to share and stream to your heart’s content. If you weren’t aware, the Dual Universe team is following a subscription pricing model for its beta.
Basically, the pricing starts at $6.99 per month. There will be different time intervals you can purchase from 3, 6, 12 months. Novaquark wrote defending their pricing model,
“Novaquark has opted for a subscription model once the Beta goes live. Players looking to experience Dual Universe will have several pricing options available at that time. The company has positioned the game to be accessible, so that players don’t have to shelve out too much per year. Subscriptions begin at $6.99/month, with three options available at launch (with more to come later on). The longer your subscription, the more you save annually, with the 12-month option including two free months in the price.”
Additionally, the Refer a Friend program is set to arrive alongside the launch of the beta today. The referrer and the referee will receive rewards for participating in the program. You can learn about that here.
