In one of the first major media blasts, Red Thread Studios has released a brand new trailer for Dreamfall Chapters and has announced that the game will be episodic. According to the latest newsletter, Dreamfall Chapters will feature five episodes, all of which will be included for KickStarter backers. New players will be able to buy season passes on Good Old Games.
Dreamfall Chapters — the long-awaited, Kickstarter-funded follow-up to The Longest Journey and Dreamfall — is a story-driven adventure game about choices and consequences, dreams and reality, set in parallel worlds of science and magic.
Book One: Reborn, the first of five books, releases this autumn, and follows our reborn heroes Zoë Castillo and Kian Alvane on their journeys across three worlds: a dark, cyberpunk vision of the future; a magical fantasy world; and a broken, decaying dreamscape.
