We finally have a date for the end of World of Warcraft Dragonflight Season 3: April 22nd. After several previews of what we’ll see in Season 4, now it’s time to get some things done before new changes go into effect.
Season 4 will bring some big changes as Blizzard closes out the Dragonflight era and prepares for the War Within later this year. Among those changes include an overhaul of dungeon difficulty and rewards. If you’re behind on your seasonal rewards, 11 of them will only be available until the end of Season 3, like the Dreaming Hero and Famed Slayer of Fyrakk titles. Similarly, there are a number of PvP rewards going away soon.
WoW’s latest devblog serves as a good checklist for the completionists out there or just for those who might see something they haven’t achieved yet and won’t be able to in a few weeks. The season officially comes to an end on April 22nd at 10:00 pm PDT/ 1:00 am ET on the 23rd. If you qualify for any of the Season 3 titles by the time the season closes, you’ll see those rewarded in the weeks after season’s end.
Looking ahead to Dragonflight Season 4, which is not dated just yet, there are some important changes. The season update is on the PTR now and it includes a new gear upgrade track, Awakened, in addition to those dungeon overhauls. The dungeon changes are designed to give options and to not leave lower-difficulty options dead after higher ones unlock. With the Awakened gear upgrade track, there’s a new currency, Antique Bronze Bullion, which you can use to purchase some of the new rewards. Or prepare for the three Awakened Dragonflight raids for new rewards, titles, and more.
