For those not wanting to start completely fresh in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the developers have announced that we will be able to import previous decisions made in the title's predecessors.
According to IGN, Dragon Age: The Veilguard will in fact allow us to bring over the old games’ choices in order to make our playthrough more “our” playthrough. During an interview with Game Director Corinne Busche, she says that the choices can be fully integrated during character creation, and we can even customize our Inquisitor to fully remake our previous one in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
The question of whether or not previous characters would be brought back in The Veilguard was raised, and Busche stated that some of them would indeed be making a return. More so, to import these previously saved choices, players won't need an account linked as the title is completely playable offline.
The trailer for Dragon Age: The Veilguard was unveiled during the Xbox Showcase over the weekend, and apparently people were confused over the “tone” and what was shown on the big screen. From our findings, the title is completely fine and will be just as we remember it, of course with a major overhaul and new mechanics and features to enjoy.
