Throughout the balance of 2019, Divinity: Original Sin 2 players can look forward to periodic updates that will feature "gift bags". These special items are not "to be mistaken for Loot Boxes (which are hard, ostensibly containing loot). Gift Bags are soft, and contain gifts. Each Gift Bag costs exactly no amount of money to players," the post reads. The first Gift Bag will be dropped today with new faces, hairstyles and other facial features perfect for a newly created character!
Gift Bag #2 has an as-yet unannounced release date, but it will contain "a selection of features and content inspired by our modding community" and the team is tight lipped about what will be inside.
Gift Bags are being created in partnership between Larian Studios and Fools Theory and Anshar Studios.
