It’s time to go and investigate the origin of the Tenno and uncover even more secrets within the mysteries of Angels of the Zariman, which arrives for Warframe today. The brand new update includes a new Warframe, the new Chrysalith social hub, customizable apartments, new game modes, reworked Focus, and even a new class of weapons.

With the arrival of this update, you get to continue from where The New War ended, and indeed, you'll have to have finished that expansion in order to progress through this new update. The dark is waiting and so is the Zariman Ten Zero ship for you to explore and discover some secrets as you progress through the new quests and content. The ship was once thought lost to the Void, but while time and more have changed things there, it’s not done revealing its secrets.

The 49th Warframe is Gyre, who is graceful and uses electrical attacks that she powers by spinning to generate power. With her attacks you'll be able to target enemies  with a bolt or even chain lightning.

The Chrysalith will let you unlock and customize your own Dormizone apartment once you’ve finished the Angels of the Zariman quest. New decorations and options are also added in this update. The hub won’t just be a social space that opens up Warframe, it will also be the place where you access new modes, Void Flood, Void Cascade, and Void Armageddon, each a different take on classic Warframe challenges.

Void Flood is a parkour-based challenge where you need to seal Ruptures, without falling to too many debuffs, to spawn and defeat minibosses. Void Cascade introduces a new enemy, the Thrax, which can possess Exolizers. You'll have to take on these new enemies and protect the life support system. Void Armageddon lets you face off with enemies on the Zariman in order to protect its Reliquary.

Via an NPC in the Chrysalith, you’ll also be able to complete missions and defeat enemies to grab power from the Void into your weapons. This new weapon type, Incarnon Evolving Weapons, can be modified and transformed.

Focus has also gotten reworked to give all schools a more defined identity and let you have more options for active abilities. Focus points have been refunded so you can reallocate them under the new system.
