There's a brand new update for dinosaur MMO Path of Titans. The Pounce update adds a huge aquatic dinosaur, the Eurhinosaurus, a combat update that adds new gestures and possibilities, and much more.
The addition of the Eurhinosaurus brings the number of dinosaurs to 31, including 25 of them with new abilities and 43 abilities added across all of the dinosaurs. what this adds up to is $400 abilities in path of Titans overall.
The update adds new gestures and actions that will expand combat. Now, dinos can pounce, latch, drag, carry, and learn many new abilities. Imagine a giant dinosaur dragon prey underwater. Many of the dinosaur species in the game can now carry prey in their mouths. Raptors can pounce, hence the update title, and even latch onto enemies while they continue to attack from that position. Flying dinosaurs can even pick up small prey and fly off.
These new additions add some extra decisions to be made. In addition to new mechanics that increase the danger and action, there are new abilities to complement, like shake off counters, group buffs, and area effect attacks that can create new strategies. All of these combined add to the depth of combat, from single encounters to group combat.
In addition to combat changes and the brand new dinosaur, there are some updated subspecies stats, technical updates, new dynamic music as well as swimming, fishing, and weather improvements.
