Digital Extremes Shows Soulframe Social Hub, Wolf Mount, and More in New Devstream and Teases 2025

Digital Extremes promised a new Soulframe devstream, and they delivered not only more info about Soulframe Preludes, but a teaser for 2025 too.

In the new stream, we get caught up on Preludes 7's release. We also learn about and see Silent Rose Enclave, the game’s first player social hub (Warframe players, compare them to relays). The Silent Rose faction, a resistance faction, is also introduced with some mysterious art. This spot is where you’ll go to chat with NPCs, get some new side quests, and meet and socialize with others (perhaps in the Drippin Flagon over some drinks) who are on their own adventures. 

Some of the feedback they've gotten from the community were around the perceived lack of social features and also some of the combat elements. They talk about how community feedback has impacted some of the quality of life improvements, and some of the reworks like changes they made to the combat tree UI and potion systems.

If you have access to Preludes (Digital Extremes continues giving out 2,000 codes on Wednesdays), then you'll get four additional codes to share. Soulframe’s NDA has been lifted so you can stream and share anything.

Preludes 8, expected this month, introduces the Omen Shewolf Orengall in a new Fable. You'll get a chance to unlock her, and eventually, you can choose one of her cute little wolf pups (which we get a look at for proper awww-ing) to be your wolf companion and mount. 

There will be a number of customization options eventually and the depths also show some of the mechanics and wolf-related powers that you'll be able to use as a result of the Pact that lets you raise a cute puppy and sometimes have mom appear, huge, and “annihilate someone”. We get a taste of dungeon delving and the environmental hazards you might face, intended to keep you on your toes and ready to adapt to various conditions as they arise.
