Diablo IV Update Introduces Belial and Ushers in Berserk Collaboration

Diablo IV players will have the opportunity to take on Belial, the Lord of Lies, starting on April 29, 2025. But that won’t be the only thing coming to Blizzard Entertainment’s ARPG turned MMO-lite. Alongside the return of Belial a revamped boss system, new boss powers, and more will roll out.

No doubt Blizzard Entertainment has more to say about Belial’s return in Diablo IV, publishing a look at more minute details about upcoming changes to some of these core systems. A short trailer featuring some of these changes were posted to the official Diablo IV X account, which included a look at the Apparition Incursion events, and cosmetics players will be able to obtain through the Battle Pass.

Previously, some information was shared about Diablo IV’s 2025 roadmap — which did include the suggestion of a collaboration with an IP the series hasn’t seen yet, that being Berserk. The Berserk collaboration, which seems suitable for Blizzard Entertainment’s dark fantasy series, will start on May 6 and last until June 3, 2025. The roadmap also shared plans for the game leading up to December 2025, which includes an update to the Infernal Horde system, and new Nightmare Dungeon activities.
