Diablo Immortal is celebrating its first anniversary in June. And a little game called Diablo IV is launching early next month. Prepare for a celebration that combines a little bit of both as the team looks ahead over the next two months.
Diablo Immortal released back on June 2, 2022, and Diablo IV is set to launch on June 6, 2023. So get ready for the Diablo IV Launch Celebration x Diablo Immortal event. The event will start in early June and will consist of a few ways to celebrate both games and the franchise as a whole. There will be a new event, Merciless Monstrosity, that will likely let you test your skills. The Children of Lilith Battle Pass, the next pass, will feature Lilith-themed cosmetics to earn. Finally, expect to indulge in Hatred’s Heritage Phantom Market, which “will be experienceable expressions of Sanctuary’s matriarch”.
The event announcement also came with a look ahead at what the Diablo Immortal team is planning to add in June and July. In mid-June, the next chapter of the Main Questline will be added, along with a new island known as Ancients’ Cradle. This update will also bring a new PVP Zone event, new side quests, bounties, and even new enemy types.
In July, Diablo Immortal will add its first new class. Our first hints at just what this next class will be are brief. “This Class bleeds new blood into the Diablo universe with its appearance in Immortal and favors a mid-range playstyle using a classic weapon type.” So start the guessing now.
The team promises more updates on all of this new content as each part gets closer to release. First up, a big anniversary and a celebration of two different ways to dive into the darkness that Sanctuary promises.
