With the first Diablo IV season set to begin in late July, Blizzard is getting ready to give us some details on what we might expect. Plus, there’s a new class headed to Diablo Immortal, and more info on that is coming as well.
The developer update livestream that will reveal those details is set for next week, on July 6th.
First off, senior narrative designer Ryan Quinn and lead user experience designer Chris Liao will be speaking about “the monstrous new class” coming to Diablo Immortal in mid July. The team has been talking about what to expect as that game turns one, and a new class is coming in the next major update.
Most will probably be on board with this livestream to find out more about Diablo IV. Especially since the first season is on the way in just a few weeks. That game will be represented by associate game director Joe Piepiora and lead game producer Tim Ismay. And they promise that not only will they be announcing the first season of Diablo IV, with details on some of what we can expect, they'll also be talking about some of the quality of life updates that they are planning.
Since this is a reveal stream and talk about updates is on the way, there will also be a community Q&A session at the end. So if you’ve been traveling around in Sanctuary and have something you’ve been wanting to ask, now's your chance.
The stream will take place at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, July 6th. After the stream goes live, the team promises to upload a VOD for those who can't catch the announcements as they happen, and some devblogs on the topics that are revealed for both Diablo Immortal and Diablo IV.
