The Eve of Unmaking is approaching in Diablo Immortal, threatening all things in Sanctuary if Diablo is not stopped. The new update sets the stage for this limited-time event, makes some balance changes, and offers free rewards and returning events.

The update will be available across all regions by Wednesday, November 27th. The team is whetting everyone’s appetites for more intense hellish chaos early, since Eve of Unmaking will begin on December 6th and end December 17th. During the event, you'll try to buy time for Sanctuary by fighting back against even more hordes of hellspawn in efforts to disrupt and stop Diablo’s plans.

If you're level 30 or higher you can participate to earn rewards through daily tasks and additional login rewards on several days of the event. You'll even get double experience from Battle Pass levels. We can look forward to more details on this event soon.

Speaking of bonus rewards, Winds of Fortune will be live from December 6th through 12th. Activate a 24-hour buff, which will count down in real time. During your 24 hours, get double drops on things like normal gems, Battle Pass points, gold and experience, Legendary items, and other items. You'll also get double loot from many additional activities, so take on those Challenge Rifts, dungeons, or go fishing.

Class balance gets some changes. One is the “backlash” mechanic, designed to punish and discourage skill spamming and offer more options. If you place a harmful effect on an enemy, skill spamming on their end increases the debuff’s duration. They can continue fighting or try to disengage to wait out the effect first.

There will also be some nerfs, including in this update, but the team is looking at tuning less harshly:“This combined approach of reinvigorating old Legendary Affixes alongside a softer touch on nerfs will result in new combat experiences and more interesting choices, without it feeling as punishing as having the power of your skills heavily reduced.”

Returning events include Survivor’s Bane, Trial of the Hordes, and All Clans on Deck.

The World of Warcraft crossover event, Eternal War, ends on December 11th. If you want to upgrade any Mourneskull Legendary Gems, do it before the end, since they'll become harder to upgrade later.

Diablo Immortal players can also claim a reward each month in the shop on Battle.net This month, there are two to claim by November 30th, a random set item and a bundle of 10 rare crests. There will be a new item on the first of the month.
