Diablo Immortal’s next update is on the way, and it will also bring the World of Warcraft 20th anniversary collaboration event, The Eternal War. The update will also set the stage for the Season 33 Battle Pass: Ordeal of Steel, some feature updates, and returning events.

The Eternal War will start on Wednesday, November 13th at 3:00 a.m. local time and run through December 11th. The update itself will be available on all global servers by then. Last week, the team revealed all of the details about the event, including event quests, the new Mourneskull Legendary Gem, PvP clashes to be had, and the opportunity to team up with others and confront the Lich King himself in the Fallen Citadel.

If you missed the chance to get the Frostmourne weapon cosmetic from the last time these two games united for a collaboration, it’s back. This new event also offers weapon skins for each class based on some of Azeroth's legendary weapons, new emojis, banners, and more.

The rotation of returning events is a bit lighter this time around, considering that there are events within the Eternal War to keep busy with. Expect Fractured Plane, Hungering Moon, Wild Brawl, and Shady Stock.

The rest of the update will set the stage for the next Battle Pass, which will open up its rewards tracks, with 40 ranks, on November 21st. This will run until December 3rd  and there's also a preview of some of the Cosmetics on offer.

There are some feature updates, including new conditions for Blessed Reign, adjustments to Hell II leaderboards, and a way to toggle the enhanced effects on wing cosmetics. We also get a preview of more Familiar conversion UI updates, in their efforts to clarify this process.  That and more details  are over in the official announcement.
