Diablo Immortal is heading into Season 25: Iron Gambit, with a new content update, a new Battle Pass, new cosmetics, updates to Survivor’s Bane, and events.

The new update will go live across all regions this week, becoming available to all on April 10th. The new Battle Pass will run from April 11th to May 9th and has 40 ranks of challenges and rewards. With the last update, Precipice of Terror, starting the Age of Unmaking, and bringing some major new features, this one focuses more on improvements and expanding existing content.

If you earn Legendary items with specific class Affixes from the recently-added Terror Rifts, Oblivion Pillars, and Hellslayer Bounties, you won’t have to worry about changing your class. The Affix will change into the equivalent one for your new class. Another welcome improvement is bigger stack caps on certain items to ease inventory strain. Upgrade materials, including scrap, can now stack up to 99,999 per slot, among others.

A few returning events are on the slate, with Survivor’s Bane leading the pack, and Wild Brawl, Alley of Blood, and Shady Stock returning.

Survivor’s Bane gets two new modes and something to help early on. Now, if playing in Endless mode, you get a random buff at the start to help you out. Since Survivor’s Bane starts you off without your gear and just one of your class skills, the benefit is great. As for those two new modes, Legions will throw double the enemies at you, with its 100% spawn rate increase, but the experience you gain will go up by 50%. Stampede makes things a bit tighter, increasing enemy density by 50% and boosting their movement speed by 25%. These new modes are there for the challenging, and come with their own achievements and increased rewards.

The new Events Center will show you what events are active, and your progress in each of them. Completing more tasks here will earn you Seals of Triumph, which lead to better rewards. Some of what you can earn, above what you already net by playing through the events themselves, include Telluric Pearls, 1-Star Legendary Gems, Normal Gems, and Legendary items. The Events Center will run in seasons, witht he first opening April 19th, along with several of the events.
