Diablo Immortal’s next update arrives this week, with the promised additional stash tabs, some tweaks to bosses, a new Battle Pass, and a new limited-time event.
The update, which rolls out across regions between tomorrow and Wednesday, delivers on the promise that help was on the way for packed storage. While it is true that there are two new stash tabs available when the update goes live, there are some things to know. The first of the new tabs will be something you can permanently unlock for 2,000 Platinum.
The second is a little trickier. You’ll need to have an active Boon of Plenty in order to use it and the extra storage in this tab will only be usable while your boon is active. Once that expires, the items you stored in there will stay until withdrawn, and you won’t be able to add anything else until you activate a new boon.
The patch also tweaks boss invulnerability phases to reduce dungeon downtime and pick up the pace. Expect some bosses to have their invulnerability phases removed and others have theirs shortened. Also included are improvements to the Path of Blood system, including rewards. You’ll be able to skip ahead to the closest boss floor. If you win at the next boss floor, you’ll get all the loot from the levels you skipped too. Both of these measures are intended to make things flow faster.
The Perils of the Fen limited-time event runs from February 8-16 and comes with a set of Perils of the Fen tasks to complete. Slay enough demons and help set things right for rewards.
Some quality of life tweaks in the patch include a congratulations message that appears when reaching a new Hell Difficulty level. This message will also have info on any features that you've unlocked. You'll also be able to select a party member to auto-follow.
Diablo Immortal will get some additional server merges this month, beginning February 22nd, and affecting Asia.
