Another round of server merges is on the way for Diablo Immortal for improved player populations, the Season Seven Battle Pass will start, and the Hungering Moon event returns.
The second wave of server merges is upon us. Like last time, server merges are being done so players can have an expanded population to potentially party with. In various regions, different servers will merge and effectively create megaservers. You'll still be able to log into the same server you've always logged into, except that once the maintenance is complete, that server will be merged and connected to between 1-3 others that will expand the number of players available to queue up for groups.
Diablo Immortal will get its next major update in December, but in the meantime, the team is merging servers for better population and starting some bonus events.
Tomorrow's update will also lay the foundation for the beginning of Season 7 of the Battle Pass, Ancient Guardians The season will begin on November 24th at 3 a.m. server time and come with 40 ranks of challenges and rewards that include things like Legendary Gems and crests. These passes continue to come in three versions, free, and 2 paid versions at different price points. If you pay for your battle pass, you'll have the ability to unlock extra stuff, including the Ancient Guardians Weapon and armor cosmetics, and if you spring for the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass, all of the above, additional cosmetics, and a 10-rank boost.
The game is also bringing back the Hungering Moon event. The first period will start like the battle pass season on November 24th and run through November 27th. Round two will take place on December 1-December 4th. If you complete tasks and get Astrolabe power, use that power to get blessings, you will get some bonuses to Magic Find or to complete dungeons for Moonsilvers. You can even exchange those four additional rewards.
Also coming in this update is the Voidwound Cage Wilderness exploration task. If you’re up to it, wander over into the wilderness and find the crash sites with crimson slag inscribed with ancient runes.
