The update will be live across the world by Wednesday, and is light on the new content this time, but there are a opportunities to get yourself some high rarity loot and to take on some challenges.
Overflowing Arsenal starts on Wednesday August 7th and runs through September 4th. There will be five weekly tasks to complete, and you can do them up to four times each to earn Overflowing Tokens. The tokens will grant you access to 14 milestones where you have to choose between two item rewards. All items, regardless of which one you pick will be Legendary or Set rarity. In the update announcement, there is a list of all 14 milestones to get you started on what you will aim for. For those who want to boost their chances, there is a bundle in the shop That includes a +50% token acquisition bonus.
The Sunfall Reliquary Grotto also opens up on Wednesday. You can use one free draw to see what you get. After this, if you want to try for the remaining nine items, you’ll need to purchase Reliquary Grotto Tokens to exchange for draws.
Battlegrounds get an important change, as the defending team gets a longer resurrection time during phase 2, as the idol gets closer to the end of the lane. The current system heavily favors defenders, so the team is doing this to try and give the attackers a little bit of a boost. Abyssal Verge and Erebban Castle get reduced the difficulty in obtaining Runes and Abyssal Essence.
Four Helliquary bosses, Vitaath the Shivering Death, Gorgothra the Claimer, Beledwe and Gishtur, and Izilech the Misshapen, will be available to fight in Normal difficulty, with first kill bonuses. If you're looking for additional challenges, Challenge Rifts will get 50 new levels on August 19th with a new season..
Finally, several events return this monh, including The Scorched Sea, All Clans on Deck, Trial of the Hordes, Alley of Blood, and Survivor’s Bane.
