Diablo Immortal, fresh off the saga that ended 2024 with a head to head confrontation with Diablo himself, has a new update dropping this week that is a little less epic, but still full of content and events.
The Season 35 Battle Pass: Traveling Blade Is one of the highlights, offering a new round of refreshed rewards that include crests, hilts, and Legendary Gems from January 16th through February 13th. A special Collector's Empowered Battle Pass is also coming. With this, you can pick two Ephemeral Treasures that you own and reactivate them so you can display them again. After consecutive activations, you’ll get the ability to reactivate another treasure, getting to pick up to five at a time.
Challenge Dungeons get a couple of tuning changes to strengthen the gameplay loop. Additionally, you will no longer be able to follow other players when you're inside these dungeons. Elite Quests become replayable anytime with this update. As long as you've completed these quests, you can visit Taite in Westmarch to relive them. There are even some inventory improvements that increase certain atacks to give you a little breathing room and extra space.
The update also includes several returning events: Conqueror, Wild Brawl, Survivor's Bane, and Hungering Moon. Also returning is Winds of Fortune. Starting January 15th, you can claim a 24-hour buff that will start doubling your rewards. It is a real-time buff so once you activate it the clock starts ticking in real time so you can't just log out to go eat dinner and expect to get that hour back.
Go wild and earn as much as you want, because who needs sleep, anyway? The event ends on January 22nd at 3:00 a.m. server time, and if you don't activate it by 24 hours before then, it will activate automatically so that last day will be your 24 hours of extra bonuses.
Wiith downtime for the update starting tomorrow, it will be available in all regions by wednesday, January 9th.
