Diablo Immortal’s next update is on the way this week, with new Legendary items, new and returning events, and a series of updates to the UI, and balance changes for classes and features.
The new Temptation’s End Phantom Market comes with a new twist this time. The market will be open from August 21st to September 23rd and this version will have two forms, resplendent human and demonic. You'll be able to change between these two forms by toggling the cosmetics section and you'll choose from which pool you draw from.
The Temptation’s End Kill Streak effect and Glinstep are two new cosmetic effects that you can get if you are lucky enough to get The Temptation’ End Cosmetics Set. These cosmetic effects will let you show off for 30 days. They will remain in your cosmetics tab and future markets will also have new ephemeral treasures. If you reach Milestone rewards you'll be able to earn more new items. The update announcement features a full list, along with starting drop rates.
The update also features a slate of returning events for all playstyles.
The Winds of Fortune limited-time event is also coming. This new event means that every time from August 29th through September 5th, you'll receive double rewards for most actions, including challenge rifts, bounties, dungeons, fishing, codex activities, and more. There are some limitations, and things like Battle Pass rewards won't double.
To continue the focus on rewards, September 5th through September 15th if you are over level 30 you'll be able to get a special preview of the next major update by participating in another limited time event, Forsaken Judgment. You'll be able to get rewarded, including a 100% XP boost from Battle Pass levels on several days during the event.
Speaking of upcoming content, there's a hint toward what's on the way:
“The act of destroying the Worldstone shards has warped your soul, and dark whispers echo in the shadows. As you walk through your adopted home of Westmarch, you may hear errant voices. Whether you choose to listen to them is up to you.”
There are some class and feature balance changes, and some UI tweaks, including for the Battle Pass UI, Rune UI, and more.
