Diablo Immortal’s next update this week adds another new event for the Cursed Solstice - Risk and Rally, and a series of improvements.
While the last content update added a number of new features, this one is focused more on improvements. There is new content here as well though, and the update will be live across all Global regions as of July 24th, this Wednesday. The main new additions are the Risk and Rally limited-time event, which is for level 30+ and runs July 25th through August 11th and the new Revenant Market.
Every 12 hours during the event period, a dungeon will be selected and the challenge will open. you have to clear the current dungeon and try to rank on its leaderboards by clearing the final boss as quickly as possible. Within those 12 hours, you can run that dungeon as many times as you want to try and get your best time. While each dungeon has its own leaderboard, there's also an overall leaderboard for the event itself. Both the dungeon leaderboards and event leaderboards are for those on the same server, as well as split by class and Inferno and Hell difficulties. Of course, your ranks will determine how rich your rewards are.
Revenant Market, like Phantom Market, lets you use Obols to draw a random item from the item pool. Every time you draw, after your first free draw, the cost goes up. Items include previously released Phantom Market cosmetics, Hatred’s Heritage and Deathless Destiny. This market has a twist.Tokens can be pulled and you’ll have to make a choice between two items of the type selected - Portal, Ultimate, or Cosmetic Set. If you manage 10 pulls during the event you will get all of the items.
The Season 29 Battle Pass begins on August 1st. Untamed Wisdom comes with 40 ranks of rewards, including crests, hilts, and Legendary gems.
The update also has a number of feature improvements, including a silver frame on your health bar in PvP that shows Cheat Death is equipped, a new blacksmith, and the ability to activate Paragon specializations from the central node of the tree. You can also save a reforge loadout in the armory.
