Diablo 4’s 1.4.1 patch, which alleviated a number of community pain points surrounding Masterworking costs, also introduced some new issues, even bricking the popular Rapid Fire build for Rogues.
Blizzard recently pushed out a hotfix to resolve these issues, but also ended up fixing a whole host of other bugs with a good deal of positive upside for the Sorcerer class.
The patch 1.4.1 hotfix fixed a bug with Scoundrel’s Kiss that made Rapid Fire fire arrows in an erratic pattern following patch 1.4.1, allowing Rogues to get back to blasting with one of the class’s most popular meta builds.
Sorcerers saw fixes to the Frigid Fate paragon node, Storm Swell and Shredding Blades Legendary Aspects, as well as Glinting Fire Bolt and Enhanced Firewall. These all involved Damage to Vulnerable, which were not working correctly all season. According to many Diablo 4 creators, this should result in a roughly 25% gain in damage for Sorcerers. It’s not going to change the class overnight, but the fixes are a helpful and welcome addition nonetheless.
Barbarians, who certainly don’t need any help right now, also had a number of Damage to Vulnerable bugs fixed with the two handed axe weapon expertise and Battle Flay.
