Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion is coming next week, with PC pre-load beginning today. Blizzard has another new guide to prepare you for the next chapter, along with details you may have missed about the expansion content, preorder bonuses, and more.
Vessel of Hatred’s global unlock is set for October 7th at 4:00 p.m. Pacific time. If you have bought the expansion, you can look ahead to a brand new zone, the Nahantu region and the exclusive Spiritborn class. Within Nahantu, you’ll find Nahantu Monster Families, Renown, Dark Citadel, Mercenaries, the Kurast Undercity, new Legion Events, and Runewords. This is in addition to the Vessel of Hatred campaign, along with side quests, and an overarching mission to help stop the demons that are spreading through the sacred land and track down the missing Neyrelle.
If you haven't pre-ordered the expansion, you can still grab an Ultimate Edition before launch and get a series of goodies for both Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal. A new snow leopard pet, Alkor, is one of those bonuses. You can also get a Mother’s Lament Legendary Gem in Diablo Immortal. Battle.net and Xbox players will also get a month of Game Pass Ultimate.
There are a series of base game updates on the way when the expansion launches too, so even if you don’t plan on heading to Nanhantu. The level cap will rise to 60 and there will be a new Paragon max level of 300 along with Paragon system changes. Expect two new character slots, new class skills and passives, a new season full of content, and the brand new party finder.
Battle.net pre-load is open now, and on Xbox and PlayStation, pre-load will start on October 5th at 4:00 p.m. PDT.
