With Season 5 ongoing, Diablo 4 is prepared to drop yet another patch, with build 1.5.1 dropping on Monday, August 20.
Firstly, if you didn’t even know there were patches, you’re in luck, as players will be informed when patches are available. The gift of knowledge keeps giving.
Infernal Offerings have been boosted a bit to give more rewards at the end of the Hordes, with The Exalted Elite’s, Surging Elite’s, and Unstoppable Elite’s Burning Aether amounts all going from +1 to +2, and Burning Rain’s going from 1-3 to 3-9. Plus, Spoils of Gold is now reusable.
If you had trouble in the previous 1.5.0 primary patch getting Greater Affixes, then Blizzard also wants to make up for it. “All players will receive a cache of Legendary items with guaranteed Greater Affixes,” according to the patch notes, so you hopefully get something a little bit helpful once you dive back in.
There are some pretty helpful fixes to the social experience, too. Trade chat will be separated by world tier so you can actually see messages that matter to your progress, party leaders can upgrade other players to the role, and you can actually change your clan name. Plus, new characters will be bumped to the top of the character list.
