In the latest newsletter for Revival the lead designer Adam Maxwell has detailed the reasons for delay of the offline client that was stated to be available to players shortly before.

Maxwell cites bugs with the UI that needed an immediate fix; team attendace at E3; and a few other reasons for the delay. The team is back to work:

[I]n that same stretch time we’ve made great strides in preparing for what happens next after our first release of the offline client: The release of the whole house upgrade packages and then the prop and room kit upgrades. Presently, the plan is that these will occur in two separate patches, each coming shortly after the release of the last. Once the room kits are in place, we will officially move into phase 2 of our production, the construction of the city of Crowns Rock.

The team posted several blogs over the past months, all of which are linked in the newsletter. You can read about topics, including A Day in the Life of a Crook, The Bank Job, A Day in the Life of a Magickal Practitioner and others.
