Starting next week, Guardians in Destiny 2 will be able to jump into spring with both feet when The Revelry event kicks off. The event is specifically designed to celebrate spring at the Tower. Players will be able to get hold of an Exotic weapon and will revisit the Verdant Forest, a mashed up version of the Haunted Forest from the Halloween event last year. There will be lots to do within, including killing bosses, taking out trash and more. Of course, a number of bounties will be offered too.
The Revelry is a new event in Destiny 2 that celebrates the joy of spring. The Tower has been decorated with colorful arrangements and Eva Levante has a new activity for you to enjoy and new rewards for you to earn. But that is just the beginning, the celebration spans across the solar system offering ways for your character to feel more powerful in every activity. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
During The Revelry you will gain access to the Verdant Forest. The more rooms you clear, the more time you will have to defeat the onslaught of 5 different bosses and claim your reward. Open to all Destiny 2 players.
Running through the Verdant Forest, players will earn Reveler's Tonic that can refill their Reveler's Essence by defeating bosses to reduce the cooldown of melee, grenades or class abilities. The more Revelry armor a player has, the better the tonic is. Tonics are, by the way, usable in all of D2's activities including the Crucible.
On the rewards side, players can hand in extra Essence for a package of goodies that can contain all kinds of items such as a Revelry helmet ornament and other random items.
