The time is almost here for the developer gameplay preview for Destiny 2: The Final Shape, where we will get a look at the progress the developers have made on the upcoming expansion.
Bungie has confirmed that on April 9th at 9:30 AM PT, there will be a Developer Gameplay Preview revealing new information on Destiny 2: The Final Shape expansion and the launch trailer for Into the Light. Fans will also get a glimpse at some never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage from Bungie during the stream.
The live stream will be available on the official YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch accounts, which comes soon after the live stream from April 2nd, which was the final part in a three-part series of the Into the Light content update, which happens to release the same day as the Developer Gameplay Preview. The three-part series revealed different game modes, missions to complete, gameplay footage, and more to get everyone pumped for the upcoming content.
Even with the new content and expansion in the works, there is a bit of questioning coming from the fans on the future of Bungie. Things like the Director leaving the company in February, and Sony cracking down on Bungie taking accountability, as well as the previous company-wide layoffs, have players wondering whether or not the future is bright or slowly dimming.
In other Destiny 2 news, there have been a few interesting collaborations to hit the game this year, including one with the iconic Ghostbusters franchise. This new collab allows players to get their very own Ghostbusters Firehouse Accessory pack while they wait for Into the Light content to release.
