For anyone who has yet to dive into Destiny 2 because they couldn’t play through every expansion, the time has come to start the journey through several expansions during the Expansion Open Access month.
Bungie has decided to make Shadowkeep, Beyond the Light, and The Witch Queen available to all players without purchase for a limited time. From now until June 3rd, we can try our hand at any of the expansions we so choose, and those who have PlayStation Plus, they will gain access to the Lightfall expansion as well.
Everyone who joins in on the fun will have the opportunity to utilize the Darkness Subclass, Stasis, and Strand as they progress, participate in three extra raids, and be able to unlock new exotic weapons and gear. Of course, that is just the tip of the iceberg, as all seasonal content from Destiny Year 6 will also be available to everyone until June 3rd.
These seasons include Season of Defiance, Season of the Deep, Season of the Witch, and Season of the Wish. At the end of this event, we will also be able to keep and use any of the weapons and gear we earned during the Open Access month, which is a neat feature for anyone planning on playing the newest upcoming content, The Final Shape.
There is also even more content to get through, as there is also a special promotion available for Destiny 2’s Catalogue and the Lightfall + Annual Pass Bundle. The discount will also be around until June 3rd, giving everyone a chance to prepare prior to the launch of the new expansion on June 4th.
In other Destiny 2 news, three new PvP maps have been added to Crucible, as well as loadout changes and more.
