Dead by Daylight will be updated on December 11th with the Darkness Among Us content expansion. This marks the tenth chapter for DbD and includes a new map, killer and survivor. Players will be challenged to differentiate between killer and survivor since The Legion is a collective of four human teenagers. Those who take on the killer role will be able to play as one of the four and utilize the Feral Frenzy power.
The new survivor is Jeff Johansen, an artist with a heart of gold. He has a dark past but led a quiet, simple life until his father passed, leaving things to sort out. The action takes place in Ormond, Canada, once a small, remote ski town with idyllic slopes, turned obsolete. Mount Ormond is now a soulful, deforested graveyard where gangs and teenagers go looking for trouble. Some people believe that the mountain hides a bottomless hole from where no one can return…
Darkness Among Us will be available for PC via Steam, XBox One and PlayStation 4 on December 11th.
In addition to the new content, Behaviour Interactive also announced that dedicated servers will be incoming in Summer 2019. The move should improve stability and performance for live matches and has been the number one requested feature by the community.
