Fans of Dungeons and Dragons are on the edge of their seats in excitement at the latest collaboration coming to Dead by Daylight.
The developers at Behavior Interactive and 505 Games have posted a teaser trailer giving fans of multiple games something to look forward to. Though this was only a very short and small taste of what could come, plenty of speculation is rumbling around the internet.
This upcoming major crossover brings Dungeons and Dragons to the world of Dead by Daylight, though as of right now the details on when are a bit foggy. The video does state that there will be more details coming on May 14th, but currently, that is all of the information that has been confirmed.
The video does, however, showcase what looks to be a Beholder slamming itself against a fence within the Dead by Daylight map, and then confirms the collaboration at the end. This is just one of many crossovers that Dead by Daylight has seen, and there are several that players still long to see.
From this Reddit thread, we can see that many people are excited to see whether or not they can actually become the Beholder, or if this will end up being a cosmetic-only type of collaboration. Some speculate that Vecna will appear, while others think it might just be Mindflayers.
Either way, whatever the devs implement will most likely be happily welcomed by both fans of Dead by Daylight, Baldur’s Gate 3 players, and those who enjoy Dungeons and Dragons in all of its forms. We'll learn more on May 14th.
