Dead By Daylight Announces Witcher Collection, Five Nights at Freddy's, and Community Created Chapter

Dead By Daylight is getting a Witcher collaboration, along with several other collaborations on the way as revealed by the team this morning at PAX East.

This year's 9th anniversary collaboration will feature Five Nights At Freddy’s, which the team revealed was their most requested collaboration. The Killer will be Springtrap,  which is the first time this character has ever been playable. With the chapter, there will be a Springtrap Legendary Outfit, featuring the Yellow Rabbit version as played by Matthew Lillard in the film adaptation. Lillard will return to be the voice in the collab, which will also feature a new Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza map.

The Witcher Collection is just going to consist of new  outfits, so it’s not a full collaboration where Geralt will enter The Fog  (not yet, at least). But if you love The Witcher styles, outfits inspired by Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss, the Leshen, and Eredin will be on the way. They’ll be for Vittorio Toscano, Kate Denson, Sable Ward, Mikeala Reid, The Artist, and The Knight.

At PAX, the full presentation detailed a roadmap full of quality of life updates, and a special community choose your own adventure style feature. The community will be involved in creating a new Chapter – creating the Killer and Survivor, from their looks to their lore and gameplay through a series of decision making processes. As the community makes their choices, further options will evolve, for even more depth. This new Chapter will be out next year.
