Dead Body, I Choose You! Teen Finds Corpse During Pokemon Go

In Riverton Wyoming, a local teen found more than a Weedle while out walking during a Pokémon Go adventure. Local station KTVQ reports that Shayla Wiggins found a body floating in a local river on Friday morning. No word yet if it was the work of Team Rocket...

Too low? Anyway, Shayla was doing what all players of the game do: she was hopping fences and going places where she thought elusive Pokémon might show up. From the KTVQ story:

"The Pokemons are all over Riverton," she said. "I was trying to get a Pokemon from a natural water resource."

She said that she jumped over the fence to go towards the river in search of a Pokemon.

"I was walking towards the bridge along the shore when I saw something in the water," Shayla said. "I had to take a second look and I realized it was a body."

She said the body was floating about three feet from the shore and it looked like an average size male body.

She saw a black shirt and black pants. All of the body was reportedly submerged except for part of his back and butt.

"It was pretty shocking," Shayla said. "I didn't really know what to do at first. But I called 911 right away and they came really quickly."

Authorities told Shayla they believe the body had been there less than 24 hours. There's no information on the identity of the body yet, either. We all hope Professor Oak is OK.
