Update 114 for DC Universe Online is here and brings with it the Tides of War summer event, in addition to several other updates. Here are the details.
Tides of War is the summer event and will run through June 23. This means you have plenty of time to hop in and check out the festivities should you so choose. So what’s the scoop? According to the post,
“The battle for the throne of Atlantis continues! Ocean Master, Aquaman's conniving half-brother, has rallied a force of mutineer Atlanteans in an attempt to displace King Arthur and take the throne! The Atlantean civil war has breached the waters of Metropolis.”
To start the event, be sure to head to your mission journal and track Tides of War. Also, be sure to check out the Events tab in the On Duty menu. You should find the Atlantean Outpost listed there. You can also utilize the Warp menu and be transported directly to the content. All you have to do is select Summer Seasonal: Ocean Master.
New feats for this event include Backyard Master, True King of the Grill, and The Pineapple Express. New collections have also been added, in addition to new base items, new backyard grilling styles, and a new chroma. You’ll have to be at least level 10 to participate. This latest Tides of War event follows the conclusion of the Death of Superman event which ended yesterday in DCUO. And if you somehow missed it, all episodes will be made free ahead of this summer’s expansion.
