DC Universe Online is all set for summer with the Tides of War event returning today, along with a few sales for the season.
Tides of War opens up today and runs through July 29th. Once again, Aquaman's half brother, Ocean Master, is working to displace Arthur from the throne and take over. With him are his Atlantean mutineers to offer a little more resistance and support the coup. This civil war has spread into Metropolis. So that’s where you come in.
Those level 20+ can fight through the event and collect the Sand Dollars event currency to trade for items.Everything you need to know will be in the On Duty menu. For this year's event, there's a new way to use the warp menu to head to the open world content. The choice “Summer Seasonal: Ocean Master Fight" is what you'll need to select if you just want to get down to battle.
There are three new Feats this time around, and new items to spend those Sand Dollars on. Those include Festival Hair, Beach Hair, Sumer Vibing Emote, 10 pieces making up a full stage kit, a Beach Hat, and three colors (blue/green/red) of glow tubes. There are a number of returning items this year as well, with those cosmetics available at a discount.
Speaking of discounts, the team is also promoting what they’re calling their biggest summer sale, with a number of items on sale, including the new Booster Bundle, the John Sewart Ally, Wolf Pack Tokens, and Sunstone Fortress.
