It is firmly spooky season everywhere, including in Daybreak’s MMORPG lineup. Events are ready for those seeking treats (tricks?) candy, and other goodies in DC Universe Online, EverQuest, EverQuest II, Dungeons & Dragons Online, PlanetSide 2 and Magic: The Gathering Online.
DC Universe Online welcomes back The Witching Hour. Head to the the Midnight Masquerade club to participate in the event. Transform into a bat and race around Arkham Asylum to see who's fastest and earn yourself some event currency. Take on Witching Hour event missions, And even take home some fun cosmetics, including a Pumpkin Patch Chroma, Wicked Sour Chroma, or spooky base items like Spider Web flights and a Spooky Tree Stump. This year, there are three new feats to take on as well. The event runs through November 4th.
Over in Dungeons & Dragons Online The Night Revels event is back through November 3rd, filling Delera’s Graveyard with seasonal festivities and challenges. When you run quests on hard difficulty you have a chance to earn yourself some chocolate or Night Revels keys. Use the keys to enter the new Shop till You Drop dungeon, Where you will help a scientist by shopping for ingredients. There are some new goodies this year, including the Jackorb weapon cosmetic. When the event is active, it looks like a lit up jack-o'-lantern but when the event is not active, it looks like a regular pumpkin.
EverQuest has Nights of the Dead until November 5th. With haunted seasonal creatures, event quests, and even NPCs that are spookier than usual. you can earn yourself pieces from the Sinister housing item collection, two potential familiar metamorphs and even a new illusion, Vision of a Sarnak Skeleton.
EverQuest II is also running its version of Nights of the Dead is welcoming another Year of Darkpaw giveaway, this time the Eeria the Eerie baby dragon pet. They’re also debuting the completely reimagined new Roehn Theer, the Godslayer raid.
Magic: The Gathering Online has brought back Frank Lepore’s Horror Cube through October 25th. And PlanetSide 2 is running Nanite of the Living Dead through October 31st. If you’re into skulls and pumpkins and space, it might just be for you.
It’s Halloween season, and there’s no shortage of fun events to jump into.
