You get a festival, and you get a festival

It's holiday festival time in gaming, and Daybreak is hosting a bevy of in-game celebrations across their roster of MMORPGs.

All of Daybreak's in-game festivals have already kicked off, from celebrating Festivult in Dungeons and Dragons Online to stopping Larfleeze from stealing the holidays right out from under our noses in DC Universe Online. While some events will end before the new year, quite a few of them run through January 7th, giving plenty of time to get into the festive spirit in your favorite game.

Returning celebrations such as The Lord of the Rings Online's Yuletide Festival are a highlight, giving players the chance to earn new cosmetics, mounts and more. Even PlanetSide 2, which is undoubtedly had a down year following its quiet sale from Daybreak earlier in 2024, is getting into the spirit with its Auraximas event, bringing snowy landscapes (and a few snowmen) to the MMOFPS.

Not to be outdone, Norrathians can enjoy Frostfell in both EverQuest and EverQuest II, with snowball fights, gift giving and more.

Heck, even Magic: The Gathering Online players have something to look forward to, with a free Vintage Cube preview league, as well as a new Vintage Cube bundle so players can relive the nostalgia of Magic's most enduring cards.

You can check out the full list of holiday events on the Daybreak website
