Fans were delighted to see David Hayter return to Metal Gear in a promotional video for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Legacy Series (and recently released Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1).
Published on Konami's official YouTube channel, Metal Gear Solid Legacy Series will see the original Solid Snake voice actor take fans down memory lane with a look back at the series' most iconic moments. It also came with an exciting teaser from Hayter that "this is only the beginning" for the Metal Gear franchise.
Hayter began his long tenure in the role of Solid Snake in 1998 with the release of Metal Gear Solid on the original PlayStation. He played the character from then until the release of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker in 2010. In 2013, Hideo Kojima shocked gamers everywhere with the announcement that '24' star Kiefer Sutherland would replace Hayter as the voice of Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid V.
