It looks like Cyberpunk 2077’s main story will actually be shorter than Witcher 3’s.
The news arrived on the Night City Wire stream with quest designer Patrick K Mills confirming,
“We got a lot of complaints about The Witcher 3’s main story just being too long. And looking at the metrics, you see tremendous amounts of people played through that game really far, but never made it to the end.”
He continued that CDPR wants players to see the story so they shortened the main story. But the game still has loads to do regarding side quests, activities, and general competitionist run stuff. You can catch the clip here.
In case you missed it, the team shared the minimum and recommended specs for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC. You can read those here. As of yet, we do not know the resolution nor framerate targets for those specs. Additionally, we do not know the ray tracing requirements. However, Global Community Lead Marcin Momot recognized that and Tweeted,
We hear you and we will try to publish configs aimed at 4K, RTX, etc., closer to the release. Stay tuned! https://t.co/OxEGJUtPX7
