Cyberpunk 2077 is now offering even more ways to customize V in update 2.2. CD Projekt Red has also improved Photo mode and gameplay improvements, more Johnny Silverhand, and even more, across all platforms.
The new update was made by CDPR and Virtuos. If you like deep customization, for an already in-depth character creator, this is a patch for you. There are 32 new eye colors, 18 lip makeup options, 17 nail color options, 16 more eye makeup types, as well as some new eyebrows, body and face tattoos, scars, and even eight cosmetic face cyberware options. Cyberpunk 2077 is now offering everyone even more opportunities to be creative and even maybe start a whole new journey with a new V. If you're not feeling creative, the character creator randomizer got an update so you can go from Plain-to-Punk on a slider for an easy option.
Vehicles also get some new customization options, with more vehicle brands getting Rayfield CrystalCoat and additional tweaks to choose from.
Following community requests, Photo Mode gets significant improvements. Changes include making the drone camera a free camera, increase camera range, you can toggle whether the camera respects object Collision or you can even lock the camera or turn off the lock. PC players get customizable aspect ratio, and you can spawn up to three NPCs for your photo with more than 20 characters to choose from and adjust their expression and poses before you snap your shots.
SmartFrames™ by Kiroshi is a new way to display Photo Mode shots. Just interact with the photo frames in your apartment. Use the images from your screenshots folder on your PC or console gallery to take advantage of these new display options.
If you wanted more Johnny, after Act 1, sometimes he'll appear in the passenger seat while you're driving, offering new commentary and reactions.
There’s more improvements to discover in the update, which is now live across platforms. With the game set to hit Mac next year, these should be coming along too.
