During PAX West 2019, the Cyberpunk 2077 extended press demo will be shown publicly for the first time. The 50-minute demo was shown "behind closed doors" to members of the press during E3 2019 and will be shown again during Gamescom 2019. However, by the time PAX West hits a week after Gamescom, the demo will be shown to the public at large.
The 50-minute demo focuses primarily on gameplay and shows a single mission told through the eyes of both a male and female version of V, the game's main protagonist.
It's going to happen exactly during PAX West. :)— Marcin Momot (@Marcin360) June 12, 2019
Eurogamer is also reporting that the multiplayer component of Cyberpunk 2077 isn't yet in development. However, it must be kept in mind that multiplayer was never designated as a launch feature.
Eurogamer: CD Projekt has talked about multiplayer before. Now you have a release date set, can you confirm it will just be single-player at launch?
Sasko: Yes, 100 per cent. We're not really working on multiplayer, our sole focus is single-player. We'll do that, then we'll see. We're not saying no but we're not saying yes. If something does happen it will definitely be post-launch and that's as much as I can say right now.
