We reported a January 26th that the first major update, Patch 1.1 brough plenty of fixes and one major bug that prevented players from continuing the story with Takemura. In today’s hotfix, CD Projekt Red fixed the issue, and restored randomization along with it.
You can read the hotfix information on the official site, or view what was hotfixed below:
This update addresses two issues that appeared after Patch 1.1:
- Item randomization has been restored to the previous state.
- The save/load loot exploit will be investigated further.
- A bug in Down on the Street quest has been fixed.
- It occurred for some players during a holocall with Takemura, when using a save made on version 1.06 with Down on the Street quest in progress at "Wait For Takemura's call" objective. After loading such a save on version 1.1, the holocall would lack dialogue options and block interactions with other NPCs.
CD Projekt Red has been working to fulfill its promises to all players who were disappointed with the game, either due to last-generation console performance, or other issues with playability due to rushing the game out of the door after three delays.
