Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 2.1 is set to expand the experience with improvements to boss fights, new vehicles, a slate of new accessibility features, and much more to  improve your experience.

The update arrives on December 5th, along with the Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, which features both the base game and the Phantom Liberty expansion. Update 2.1 is a separate, free update that will be out for all current and future owners.

The dystopian world of  Night City gets a little more musical with the introduction of a new radio port that lets V listen to music while walking around or even riding the metro. This new option, when turned on, we'll have adjustable volume and it will automatically shut off when the game audio is crucial, like during cutscenes or conversations.

Boss fights are getting more dynamic, with the bosses having better strategy and adapting to your tactics in a more advanced way. For those who felt like some of the fights weren't offering enough of a challenge, in a few days, you’ll get the chance to fight Adam Smasher with improved AI and tactics, and others too.

Of course there are new vehicles, with the Porsche 911 Cabriolet, a couple of new motorcycles, along with upgraded motorcycle handling and mechanics. There are also some new things to uncover and learn, technical improvements, and more.

Part of the overall slate of improvements include accessibility options. Starting with the addition  oven accessibility tab to the game setting menu. Features you’ll find include colorblind mode options, new subtitle options. For example, cinematic subtitles will be at the bottom of the screen but overhead will appear above the head and PC's heads.

You can also adjust the text size on screen for easier reading. Other options include background opacity sliders, and practical features like a snap to target toggle, aim assist options, adjustable controller vibration, and much more. There’s even control over how much your weapons sways when you're aiming.

CDPR has published a separate article with the accessibility options in this packed update. You can read more, including details on the full 2.1 experience, at Cyberpunk 2077.
