Cutting the Card(sharks) Out of the Game

The ban hammer has swung on Hearthstone players with a ban wave issued for those who have been found to be using third party programs to provide an advantage in the game. According to the EU Hearthstone site, the Blizzard team will continue to monitor the situation and issue further ban waves as needed. There is no word on how many players were affected by the ban.

We will continue to closely monitor Hearthstone and take action as needed to protect the game environment. Hearthstone accounts found to be cheating in any form will be permanently closed without warning.
